The orchards and raspberry plantations in and around Motueka are at present looking well. It is stated by some that the grub or insect which is attacking the green buds of the raspberry canes will interfere with the jjjeld in some parts of the district, but on account of the increased area which is coming into bearing, the crop is expected to equal that of the past season. There is a wealth of blossom on the apple trees which augurs well for the growers. *** Subscription to MOTUEKA'STAR : Three Shillings and Sixpence a Quarter which may begin any time
