Fat lambs—2oo all of which’ were taken locally at 13s to 16s 3d. 'Store sheep—Only 1005. There was a better demand for ewes with .lambs. Wethers 12s 3d, ewes with lambs 9s Id to 9s 6d, all counted, hoggets 8s 7d to 10s 3d. Pigs—-312. There was a keen demand for all sorts. Baconers 49s to 56s up to 82s for extra, equal to 4fd to_.s|d Jb, porkers 24s to 36s 6d, equal to 5d to 51d, large stores 16s to 28s 6d, small 6s to 13.

Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., iri conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report on their stock sale at Johnsonville on Tuesday last as follows -xAn average entry of bullocks of good quality, with a few rough workers, were equal to last week’s rates. We quote beef at 30s to 31s. Best bullocks £l2 to £l3 15s, others £ll to £ll 17s 6,,, light sorts £9 IQs to £lO 15s. The yarding of sheep was of medium quality.
