WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
The following comparative statement of the receipts of, and expenditure in, the seven ridings of the Waimea County Council was supplied to the member's at the last meeting of that body :

See that you get Sander and Sons, and reiect spurious preparations which are sometimes supplied by unscrupulous dealers. The export of fat cattle from the Clutha district continues (says the Leader). The latest deal represents 260 bead, which are to be sent from Stifling to the Ocean Beach Feezing Works, Bluff,, at the rate of 64 every second day. The price is 32s 6d per 1001 b, and the first lot were sent away on Wednesday. The 260 head is part of an order for 600. The prize gooseberry at the annual snow lately devoted to this fruit at Middlewich weighed v over nineteen pennyweights.
