One of the most successful and pro gress : ve poultry breeders of the North Island is a busy man of the world who has to take advantage of the odd moments snatched from his business to manage his fine flick. About fifteen months ago he laid out £5 in a few of the best birds to be obtainel. Up to the present he has sold over £BO worth ot birds and eggs, with ; an expendibuie of about £ls for feed, care of the birds and cost of house and runs not being taken into account in the calculation.
