For the purpose at ascertaining the views of the different? candidates, a series of questions, Based on the olatform, have, been /drawn up. A copy will,-be forwarded by the exec u dye ofithe district to each candidate. 'With the request that they give the answers- and return the papers. These, will, then be recorded; and every branch in each electoral district will receive a copypt the answers; oi eacli candidate for that district. Further.,than that the Council does not deem. it wise,’. at present, to go, but it would earnestly urge each member' to be loyal to the union, and not to vote lor any candidate who does not subscribe to the platform. Where two candidates are'Standing who subscribe to the union, members should first try every means in their*power to bring about the retirement .of one in favor) of the other by means of , arbitration,, apd, fgjhpg, that, exercise their -iudginefrt as“ to tjh£ best’ ,inak.'
