THE LATEST NEWS. At quarter to two today, the ActingPremier, Sir J. G- Ward sent ns the following urgent wire : I have just received the following cablegram from Mr Seddon, dated 12.30 a.m., the 26th. , Cable begins—Latest: His Majesty had a refreshing sleep, better night, and improved in respect of constitution. His condition is favorable and the wound is healing satisfactorily. Cable ends.
