STOCK SALES. Christchurch, June 18. At the Addington market there was a large yaiding of fat cattle and slight weakening in prices, beef ruling at f om 19s to 24s per 1001 b. Prime steers made from £9 to £ll, others £6 to £8 10s, heifers £5 to £B, prime cows £8 to £9 17s 6d, others £4 Iss to £7. . Fat sheep —The bulk of yarding were ewes, many of which were of indifferent quality. Really good wethers were rather scarce, owing partly to un-sati.-factory news from London. Sheep —2963 were penrjed, prices ruling about the sa-itfe as last week.
