A Canterbury dealer, who recently visited this district (says the ViTairarapa Daily Times), secured a good number of sheep at 12s per head all round, but it was before the Wellington companies increased the price by Is 6d. The buyer from Canterbury would not accept large and heavy Lincolns, but took any small-framed sheep which were in good condition. He made no distinction between ewes and wethers, giving the same price for each class. It is estimated that 12s all round is equal to 14s for wethers and a reduction for ewes. The recent advance in the price of sheep has caused general rejoicing amongst sheep farmers. THE UNLUCKY BOY is always Jgetting his fingers burnt, his hand cut or his shoulder sprained. His parents should keep a bottle of Chamberlain's Pain Bairn in the house. This is a liniment of superior 'merit. One application gives relief. Try it. A. Manoy sells it. ***JOB PRINTING of every description I executed with neatness and despatch ai the Motueka Star Office ;
