MOTUEKA CEMETERY.

A meeting of the Motueka CVrnetnT-y Tius.tees was held oa Tuesday sifternoon, present : Messrs Tarrant, (chairman) Hursthouse, Edwards, Jordan and Parker.

The minutes of previous meeting having been read and adoptee], the accounts presented were passed far- "payment. Mr Jordan related the difficulty there had been in connection with a recent interment, four bodies havu g been buried in three allotments, ft'r "■which, an additional fee of ten shillings had been levied. Mr Jordan also handed in an account for 365, damage done to the cemetery by.'the texton when felling trees. , It was agreed that the amount be paid. Resolved, that the Motueka Borough Council be requested to take over the control of the cemetery. After several minor matters had been discussed the meeting terminated.
