Mr H. E. Gilbert’s many friends and well wishes will be pleased to hear that he received advice on Wednesday afternoon from the' head office, cancelling tlie order for removal to Matiura. post office. Mr Gilbert has been in charge of the local office for very many years and has given universal satisfaction to public at large.
