CORRESPONDENCE.

TO THE EDITOR, Sir: Will you allow me, through your paper,‘to make a few remarks re Motueka Wharf. When the Harbor Board met the other day they rose Mr Moffatt’s screw from'£lo a month to £.12. Now, if Mr Moffatt could not do the work for .£lO, how can he do it for .£l2? It appears to me that it is more money, more work. I think if the Harbor Board had studied the public in general they would have put another man on to- do the work, if there was so much work for one. Re lights, I think there could be a big saving 'there. I have been on the beach at four o'clock in the afternoon and they have been burning then. If the Board would attend to these little matters in the interests of the public they would be taking a step in uhe right direction. I am etc., J I Ratepayer.. 1
