OUR INDUSTRIES.
—o — There are in and around Motueka some eight or ten industries that afford employment to a number of hands, and which are the means of circulating a considerable amount of money during the year. The duties of a newspaper are many and varied ; one duty we intend to fulfil to the best of our abilit-v, and that is, to promote and encourage existing and projected industries here. In pursuance of that policy, we propose, at short intervals, to give as correct and interesting a description of factories now in operation as information at our disposal will enable us to do.
