CRICKET MATCH.
A cricket match Brooklyn v Upper Moutere was played at Upper Moutere on Saturday last resulting in a victory for the Knights of the willow from Brooklyn by an innings and eleven runs. Mr H. Everett captained the Brooklyn eleven, and T. Bensemann the .Moutere team. The Umpires were Messrs G. Ingram and D. Wilkens. A slight shower of rain fell during the day ; not sufficient to stop play, but helping to cool the atmosphere. The teams sat down to a capital lunch provided by host Ingram, of the Moutere Hotel.
