The October number of the New 1 dairyman and Farmer's Union Journal is to hand, aml-as usual contains a vast amount of information interesting tj daily farmers, eheesemakers, buttermakers, and others. In the pages devoted to the Farmer's Union of New Zealand of which it is the official organ, will be found reports from the various branches in the Colony, and an account of the doings of both the organising Secretary, and his assistant, Mr Fisher. There is also an excellent reproduction i.f a photograph of 3h Glass, the pio- ; neer of the Union. Taken altogether, "the Dairyman is an excellent production, and should receive the support of fanners and others throughout the " Colony.
