Pride of Roseneath is 3 y :ars old, x6J hands high, of splendid co!or, : well marked, and was landed in Nelson without a scratch. He has been much admired by all who have seen him, and should* be a great acquisition to the district. Messrs Cook iintend placing the 1 horse at the disposal of breeders in Riwaka this season.—Advt. A Canterbury Road Board had recently to pay some £SO for damages caused to two men and a horse and trap through an accident caused by a heap of shingle being left lying about a public road. - .
