Field.—Sow Spring barley on fine soil. Continue to sow wheat up on land that has been properly prepared. Let all the wheat seed be well washed with lime or blue stone (the receipts for which have been given)—but the blue stone is the surest remedy for smut. Take care and clean out all the water furrows, clip hedges, and plani out thorns for hedge-rows. Sow horse bums. Garden.—Transplant cabbages. Plant potatoe-onions, four feet apart. Prune ali kinds of fruit trees. Remove all suckers from the trees. Sow peas and beans.
