The Garden.—Sow turnips for a full summer crop; plant out pumpkins, gourds, and vegetable marrows; sow celery for a main crop, and in a rich plot of ground; sow a full crop of kidney beans, also scarlet runners; sow broccoli to come in for winter and spring use ; transplant cabbages, garlick, shallotts, and chives; sow Ameiican cresses, chardoons, and lettuce ; plant camomile for medical uses; cut up all weeds; look over newly grafted trees, to see that the clay does not drop off ; the wall trees will now icquirc attention, rub off all foreright shoots, and lay the others straight to the wall ; where the first is too thick they must be thinned, they will do to make tarts with. Thinning and binding must be attentively performed, particularly carrots, parsnips, and onions; in thinning onions plant out those you have taken out, they often become the best crop j shelter your kidney beans and tender plants by sticking boughs over them. Sow melons. I-'lowfr Garden. —Sow mignonette and ten week stocks, and on a ilry day, cut up all weeds ; turn geraniums, fuschias, hydragians, and other plants out into the borders where they will grow much finer than in pots. Tub Field.—Plough grounds ; plant maize and tobacco—plant late potatoes.
