Davis, Returning Officer duly appointed to preside at the Election of Councillor in the Riding of Gimmerburn, in ihe County of Maniototo, Hereby Give Notice that in accordance with the provisions of the said Acts an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person for the Riding of Gimmerburn to serve as Councillor for the County of Maniototo; and that Nominations, delivered or addressed to me, in the form required by "The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908," and Amendments, will be received by me at the Public Hall, Gimmerburn, any time after the publication hereof and before Noon on Monday, the fifth day of November, 1917; and a -Poll, if required, will be held on Wednesday, the fourteenth day of November, 1917, between the hours of nine o'clock in the forenoon and six o'clock in the afternoon.
