An Austrian General Tocentlv offered a reward of £1.500 for the life of the Russian General Nogin, who had been opposing him. Two weeks later General Nogin deckled to attempt an advance against the Austrians. He svuivnioued two loyal companies to headquarters and began to outline the plan of advance. While speaking an explosive bullet from an unknown source hit him on the head. His blood and brains were scattered over the soldiers around hint. The funeral took place at Kharkoff yesterday. A speaker in the streets of Moscow who advised a separate peace had a strong German accent, and the crowd took him to jail, where it was proved that he was a Genn.iii. A German has been arrested who has been living in a special ■ train moving about railways blocking military traffic, and a second German with forced credentials had taken control of a section of the Rumanian railroads. Both were executed. This evening a throng of sailors' wives assemb cd at the city hall of Kieff ami demanded that the mayor should receive them. The mayor called a nicotine for them and womvn speakers demanded that £IOO,OOO to pav soldiers' wives pensions at the rate ot £2 monthly. The Mayor promised to consider the matter and "adjourned the meeting.
