Making The Unfit Fit.
By Physical Exercise. C2 Men To Bft Called Up Next Month. The first draft of C2 men who are to □ndergo special training at the special camp at b'eatherston with a view to making them fit for active service will be called into camp on September 26. The draft will consist of 500 men. Training will consist of a graduated system of exercises, aimed solely at the creation of_a physical'y fit man out of a man who when he enters camp is unfit. This training will be under the daily superv sion of medical officers. The camp will be known as (31 Training Camp.
Attached to the Special Medical Board who re-examine C2 men and classify promising cases into CI will be a combatant officer as military approving officer, who will advise the Board whether men suffering from minor disabilities should be accepted for service or again rejecter l . This officer will be one who has earned istinctions in the field and has actual experience of similar work in England. The camp will be a subdivision of Featherston Camp, and will be under the control of a special staff.
