Market considerably easier owing to difficulty of obtaining freight. Summers 16d to 17d, racks 18d to 226, \ autumns 2*sd to 32d, incoming 35d to 37d, early winters 36d to 38d per lb, selected winter does to 69d, winter blacks 60d to 80d, winter bucks 40d to v 4sd, winter does 48d to 64d per lb. j Hides.—Government have now takeq these over and valuations are helcT every three weeks. Sheepskins.—Government valuation held fortnightly. Tallow.—Market firih at late rates Rough fat 16s to 20s; tallow in tins, 26s to 28s; casks, 28s to 35spercwt.
