Hospital Board.
The monthly meeting of the Maoiototo Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held on Wednesday, 4th inßt, the chairman, Mr C. Inder, presiding. The minutes of last meeting read and confirmed and the outfaacd". correspondence approved. The inward correspondence " comprised among others a letter from a -Christchurch firm offering to sell a complete X Ray plant for about half its Original cost. The'chairman stated that after making inquiries he found it required a djnamo with an experienced attendant to work it. -The board considered it was inadvisable to purchase it in the meantime. The chairman of the Wairoa E. and G.A. Board forwarded a lengthy communication objecting to several, of the clauseß in the proposed rules and regulations of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Boards' Association, especially that of the appointment of chairman Received. The Branch Manager New Zealand Government State Fire Insurance Office wrote soliciting the • insurance business of the institution. —Held over for inquiry. The Hospital -Committee's report was read and adopted. The Delco Lighting Co. Danedin, forwarded circular with ' showing the capability and adaptability of this ligljt for hospital re- ' quirem9nts.—Held over for further in.formation.
