At the meeting last week the following was among the business transacted:— The following transfers were approved: Small grazing 494, run 224, Blackstone, 964 acres—Mary M'Lennan.to Mr Frederick E. P. Poster; Li.p. 177 v.b., Naseby, 24 acres 2 roods 27 poles —Ann Hankin to Mr Patrick Daniel Hanrahan; m.l. 2537, Maniototo, 48 acres—Mr David Arnold to Mr Thomas George Butler.

In the case of the following transfers the ranger was asked to report:— L.i.p. 244 v.b., town of Komako, 12 acres 1 rocd 27 poles—Mr William Dowle to Lucy Dowle; l.i.p. 243 v.b.. town of Komako, 10 acres 2 roods 21 poles—Jessie Elizabeth Dowle to Lucy Dowle; s.g.r. 744 Maniototo, 502 acres Margaret Sarah Dowle (mother) to Mr Jas. Henry " Dowle (son); l.i.p. 239 v.h., Komako tt.wn, 20 acres 0 roods 08 poles, and 241 v.b., Komako town, 24 acres 3 roods 29 poles—Laura Victoria Beattie to Lucv Dowle.

Transfer from Mr T. C. Moore to Mr M'Fenzie M'Kay Marshall of sections 37, 43, etc., block I, Naseby, not registered.—Resolved that consent to transfer be withdrawn if registration not completed in 10 days. Disposal of section 1, block XI, Naseby.—Area to be let on year to year license from April 1, 1917, to Mr E. R. Mawhinney at an annual rent of £42 15s 6d, payable half-yearly in advance.

Two expiries of license were dealt with as follows:—Run 206 d, Maniototo. County; licensee, the Public Trustee in the estate of Mr John H. Crutcbley (deceased).—New license granted for a term of 14 years; ranger O'Neill appointed arbitrator in terms of Section 35 of "The Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913." Rons 203b'and 203 c, Maniototo; Mr Joseph Freßton. Renewed for a period of seven years; ranger O'Neill appointed arbitrator. The Maniototo County Council forwarded statements of proposed expenditure in respect of "thirds" and "fourths" for the period February 1 to April 30; amount, '£427 6s sd. Approved.

Reconsideration of applications, Kyeburn Run. —Mr Moses Brown granted an area of 120 acres. Applications of Messrs Geddes and Botting declined.
