All quotations are subject to market fluctuations. Wheat.—Good demand at Government prices.
Oats. —Market more active. Milling 3s 7d to 3s Bd, bright short feed 3s 6d, medium and inferior 3s 2d to 3s 5d on trucks.
Rabbitskins. Market very firm. Summers 14d to 16d, racks 15d to 17d, autumns 22d to 29d, incoming 36d to 34.1, early winters 36d to 43d per lb. Hides.—Government have now taken these over and valuations are held every three weekß.
Sheepskins.—Government valuation held fortnightly. Tallow.—fdarket firm at late rates Rough rat 16s to 20s; tallow in tins, 26s to 28s; casks, 28s to 35spercwt! Horsebair.—Market easier, 16d to 17d per lb. We store and dress all classes of seed and grain. All our machinery is of the latest and most effective design, and is operated by practical men of long experience.
General Produce Report. Butter.—Best salt, Is 3d per lb. Dairy butter in pats, Is 3d. Eggs.—2s 2d. Honey.—4Jd per lb.
Poultry.— Local roosters, 4s 6d per pair; hens, 3s 6d per pair; ducks, 4s 6d per pair.
Bacon —Rolls, 1b 4d; bame Is 4d, Cheese. —IOJd per lb.
Pigs.—ln good demand. Baconer Bd, porkers, 8d; heavy weights, sd. )
