FERAUD takes the present opportunity of informing residents of lie that his Factory being replete with every convenience, he is now turning;out an article not to be equalled. Mr. Feraud lias succeeded in producing « , AUOiIATIO TOalC BITTER ."WIRES,, . " .which are not;.only agreeable , beverages, but also have excellent, medicinal .qvialjties. Thefollowing is Professor Black's report':— ' " University, Dimedin, Ota go, New Zealnnd Laboratory. ■■ Class Beverages. . •November sth, 1875. I have examined for Mr. J. I). Feraud, of Monte Christo, Clyde, Otago, two samples of Aromatic. Tonic Bitters, with the following result: No. 827 is' a sherry colored, and No. 828 is a port wine red colored liquid j they are both perfectly 'transparent showing : the" purity of the water and other substances employed in their manufacture. These two beverages'havo a slight acid chemical reaction, and possess an agreeable, cool bit'ev taste, blended with a sensation of sweetness, striuing from the saccharine matter of tho fruit of which they are the fevmented extract. I havo also examined tho aromatic and: other flavoring substances used by Air. Feraud in their manufacture, and from the proportions in which they are blended with the fruit wine, they untilt be pronounced perfectly I safe, and freo from anything like deleterious properties. I consider this wine, therefore, an agreeable and perfectly safe bovcrogo, and when diluted I with three or four times their bulk of water, ; they will moke a good cooling summer drink.' i JAMES G.
