Bishop Nevill is expected io open and consecrate the new Episcopalian Church, erected at Clyde, on Sunday, October 7th proximo. Althottgh diligent eearch lias been made by the firiends and others of the deceased John Ryan to recoTer tbe body, wo regret their efibrt9 us hare been unsuccessful. Our correspondent at Slacks informs us that:—On .Friday evening, Sept. 14, in entertainment was given in the school houss at Blacks on behalf of the funds of the school. There wers> about fifty persons in attendance, and nil seomed satisfied with the proceedings of the evening. I am informed that after defraying expenses there is a bnlance of more than £1 in favor of the abovo named funds.
