United M. and E. Company.-* Complaint: forfeiture. When this case wall called ■on, the Manager of the Company and Mr. Fahey, being both in attendance, e*-> plained that an arrangement had been comb to, and, asked that "the complaint might btf allowed to be. withdrawn. Withdrawn accordingly. United M. and E. Company v. Garty.-* Oomplairit: forfeiture. No sufficient iervice. Struck out. . Muddy Creek Channel.—Mr. Foley, oil behalf t>f tho Muddy Creek Channel Company, attended to support and explain a memorial that had been forwarded, and referred to the Warden for report. The memorial set forth that the Company were intending td make an application to the Government fof pecuniary help, and that an official report should be obtained upon their" case. The Warden said that it was impossible for him to report satisfactorily to the Government until he should be informed what they wanted to obtain, and upon what grounds they based their request. It was arranged that Mr. Foley should be prepared by tha next Court day, July 17, to furnish the Warden with all particulars. Special Claim.—The memorial of the United M. and E. Company for a special claim of fifteen acres was considered by the Warden. There was no objection, but some provision was demanded by the Scandinavian Company for a race of theirs. Decision—to re* commend a grant upon certain eonditioQS. Grants.—Alteration of water race owned by Scandinavian Company,- by consent; JohnEwing, extended claim ; Fahey and Others, protection; Scandinavian Company, extension, of water race. Withdrawn. —An application of the Scandinavian Companj for extension of watef race, dated June 7, was withdrawn, anothef application of a week later having been 3ub« stituted.
