His Lordship Bishop IVevill of Dunedin, visited Cambrian on Tuesday last, and was received by a deputation, consisting o£ Air. Scott (lay-reader of district), and Messrs. G H Smith, W Williams, 0 Owens, Fordham, Teagne, Thuriow and others, as representatives of a meeting held on Saturday last of churchmen and members of various religious denominations. An address was read and presented to hirn by Mr. Scott, on their behalf. In replying, his Lorship, having thanked the deputation for the address, said he was pleased to hear of the success of the Rev Mr Hobbs in his ministrations, and of the esteem in which lie was held by the district, .lie hoped in his future annual visitations he would be able to include Cambrian as one of tho places which' lie would visit.
