[The following appeared in our issue oj Saturday last:—J Yesterday being Good Friday, and, as such, observed as a ciose holiday, our usual telegrams did not arrive.
In our edition of Thursday last, the Chairman of the County Council, is stated to have " dissented" to. the confirmation of the minutes. When the question of confirmation of the minutes was put to the Council, the Chaiiijaan used the words "Those in favor of motion say " Aye," against it "No." The words "against it" not having been heard, the "!No" was taken to be the Chairman's single negative, which was a mistake.
