GOOD TEMPLARY.

The second anniversary of the Ark of Safety Lodge, 1.0. G.T., was celebrated on Friday evening 23rd inst. About 6.30 the brethren formed in procession, and marched, headed by the Brass Band, through the town, and then back to the Hall where they broke up, resorting to the tables, where, under the management of the sisters of the Lodge, an excellent spread had been made. The ladies piesiding over the tables were— Mesdames Lory, Allen, Green, Nicholas, Misses Smith, Barrett, Donnelly, Johnstone, and Nicholas. Alter everyone had been satisfied with the good things provided, the room was cleared, and the concert, with Bro the Rev. J. Hobbs in the chair, was begun. In addition to performances by the members of the Lodge, some new and excellent talent had been procured in the persons of Messrs. Stevens, Ham, and West, who created a very favorable impression on the audience, and were enthusiastically applauded. Master W Collett as usual ably presided at the harmqnium. The whole affair was very enjoyable, and an immense social success. There was a large number of visitors from the Lodges at Blackstone Hill, Hamilton, and Kyeburn. , The following are the names of the officers of the Kyeburn Hope Lodge, 1.0.9-. T., who were installed by Bro. Leedbetter, L.D :-- Bro Casper, WCT; Sister Beer, WVTj Brp Williamson, WS; Bro Fergnsson, WFS; Sister Blanchard, WT; Bro Donaldson, WM; Bro Blanchard, WC; Bro Anderson, WIG; Sister George, M'Lellan, LHS.
