Sie -The St. Bathans Water Supply Company has been under a cloud tillverv recently About twelvemonths ago shareholders did not know the amount of their liabilities. Everything was in a muddle and the Company in debt. Mr W M Connochie was requested to collect the rates, and to straighten the accounts. How well.he succeeded was best told in the tact that at a meeting of shareholders last week a dividend of 15s. per share was declared. Mr. M'Connochie deserves the vhanks of the shareholders for he had no .small trouble in working out this satisfactory result.—l am, &c., Shabeholdeb.
