The crew were starving. Tlireo hud died from yellow fever, and for Ave days the others had nothing but palm oil to sustain life'with. London, January 2. Tho position of affairs has assumed a grave aspect. The Porte has submitted private conditions to the Envoys, met under the presidency of General Ignatieft, who decided to adhere to the original programme. The Conference afterwards mot, when Lord Salisbury announced the resolution of the Turkish delegates to decline to discuss the question of the intervention of Gens Darms, or the extension of the boundaries of Scrvia. The Envoys nskod the Turkish delegates if their refusal was to be' considered absolute. They promised to refer itho matter to the Porte, and give a final answer on the -tth inst,.
