LICENSING COURT. Dec. 15.
(Before H. W. Robinson, Esq., Chairman, L. W. Busch, Esq., E. A. Chapman, Esq., and M. J. S. Mackenzie, Esq., J.P.s, Commissioners.)
The only application was for a bush license for a house known as Grant's Accommodation House at Oamarama. Mr. Rowlatt appeared for the applicant (Harris), and explained to the Bench that the application had been sent to Dunedin, but that the Hon. George M'Lean, as administering the duties previously performed by his Honor the Superintendent, had declined to deal with it in the manner in which bush licenses had hitherto been dealt with by the Superintendent, considering that it was necessary for it to come before the Licensing Bench. After some discussion the Bench decided to grant the certificate.
