MESSRS. WRIGHT, STEPHENSON & f €o., DUNEDIN. (fSOLicrroßs: DUNEDIN—MESSRS. HAGGITT BROS. & BRENT. NASEBY—MR, G. E. ROWLATT. SECRETARY: E. T. GEORGE. The Directors of the Mount Ida Pastoral Investment Company, Limited) encouragod by the success that has attended the operations of tl\o Company on the Eweburu Run, have thought it advisable to ex'er.d its business by the purchase of the Rugged Ridges Station, which they have succeeded in effecting ou very advantageous terms. In view of this extension of business it has been thought advisable, and the Company hus decided, to increase the nominal capital to £40,000, by the creation of 1500 additional shares of £lO each. Of these 1000 only will now be placed in the market, the remainder beiugkept in reserve, in case another opportunity should occur of advantageously extending the sphere of the Company's.business. The Company was originally started with a nominal capital of £25,000, of which £21,070 has been paid up. Th«re are 3D3 original shares still unissued, and it is, considered! hat these, with 1000 shares of tha new issue, will be amply sufficient to place the Company in a position to carry on tho two Stations in an independent manner','find give a very handsome profit to investors. The character of'the conntry of the Rugged Ridges Station is well known as most favorable to sheep, and the price at which the purchase has been made is such as to ensure a good return, even at : present prices of wool, while the fact that the two Stations can bo worked as one gives a guarantee for economy in management. It is confident'y expected that a considerable number of the shares now opened for allotment will be taken up by the present shareholders, who may desire to increase their interest in the Company; and, in case the applications should exceed the number of shares available for allotment, a preference will be given to present shareholders, in proportion to tho number of shares already held bv them. ' J In order to place old and new shareholders on an equal footing, it ia proposed that, as regards Rugged Ridges Station, the holders of new shares shall participate in all the profits from the date of purchase, viz., Ist August, 1876; and, astfregards the Eweburn and Eden Creek Runs, from the date of allocation of shares, in proportion to the amotnt paid ap on the 3rd March, being end of the Company's financial year. Applications for shares mu*tbe made in th« form annexed, and forwarded to the Secretary Mount Ida Pastoral Investment Company, Limited, not later than Monday, November 27th, 1876, together with a deposit of £1 per share—£l pv.r share to be pajable on allotment, and the remainder by share at intervals of one month, viz., on ary 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, May 1, June 1, Julyl, August 1, 1877.
