NOTES FROM ST. BATHANS.
July 20th. The vagaries of a very old resident here, indicative or serious aberration of intellects, have necessitated l:is removal t© Ifaseby for medical treatment, and he left to day in charge of Constable Murdoch. He had previously visited .Naseby for examination, and been discharged; but, on returning home, his conduct was so extraordinary as to fully justify the course adopted. The endeavors of the Committee elected to secure the services of a resident doctor are likely to be successful. Dr. Allen, of Clyde, is expected here to-morrow on & visit, prior, it is supposed, to taking up his residence permanently amongst us. Our friends at Cambrian are making preparations for a concert, to take place shortly, in aid of their school fund; and, if ihe weather is at all favorable, a large number of visiiors will most likely be present from St. Bathans, in recognition of the spirited manner in which they always turn, out to affairs, of . the kind given here.
