APPLICATION FOR A SPECIAL CLAIM AT HAMILTON. i E, the Undersigned, Hereby Give Notice!that'we have Applied to his Honor the Superintendent, by Memorial, for-the Grant of a SPECIAL CLAIM of Twenty Acres, situate at Shepherd's Hut, near Hamilton, adjoining, the Special Claim of the Cornish Company; and that the grounds o: our Application are—1. That, to work the Ground, it will be necessary, to. construct* a Tail Race three-quarters of a mile; in length, at least sis hundred yards of which will have to be tunnelled through soud rock of a very hard and difficult character. 2. That the Tail Race, with tho exception of the portion to be tunnelled, -will be 100 feet deep by 150 feet wide. 3.
