(From oiar omi correspondent.) {The following appeared, in our issue of Saturday last:—J Dunedin, Friday, 8 p.m. Campbell's case is adjourned till Monday to enable the police to decide "whether to lay a fresh information, or proceed with the present. The "Wellington 'Argus has mentioned that ex-Judges Gresson and Chapman are to be called to the Legislative Council. Taylor, of Auckland, has resigned his Beat' in the Council. Stout, in a letter to the papers, denies emphatically any promise of understanding that the Otago Provincialists will support deuo* minationalism. Chrtstchurch beat the Dunedin artillery by four points. Vogel received a most enthusiastic reception at Wellington. His progress along the •wharf was amid a blaze of fireworks, an avenue of torches, and resounding cheers. i£e also received an address, to which he made a long reply. The Corona's passengers are to be admitted to pratigue. Richardson and Macandrew proceed south on Monday to arrange matters connected with the Mataura railway. Wellington telegrams say that the Ministry will be at once reconstructed. Reynolds retires from the Ministry, Whittaker or Moorhouse taking his place.
