WHEREAS I have received sufficient proof that the portion of the Otago Gold field, described in the Schedule hereto, is for the whole or the greater part of ail inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits : Now, therefore, I hebeby give notice that the same may be occupied by holders of Miners' Rights in claims of the undermentioned size:— One (1) Acre for each holder of a miner's right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six (6) acres altogether. ScHEDTOE : All that portion of the Otago Goldfield Bituate within the District known as the Mount Ida District, not already declared to be open for occupation in claims of one acre for each holder of a miner's right. The general boundaries of the district are as follows viz.:—Commencing at Mount St. Bathans, thence by the Dunstan Range to the head of Lauder Creek, thence by Lauder Creek to its junction with the Manuherikia River, thence by the Manuherikia to the junction of the Poolburn, thence by the Poolburn to its junction with the Idaburn, thence by a line southeast to Rough Ridge, thence by Rough Ridge to South Rough Ridge Hill, thence by the ranges to Lammerlaw, thence by the ranges and Deep Stream to the Taieri River, thence by Allen Creek and a right line to the eastern boundary of the Otago Q-oldfield, thence by the eastern and northern boundaries of the Q-oldfield to the starting point.
