A wonderful amount of excitement was prevalent in the town of JStasebv oti Monday last;'the day appointed for the election of councillors for the "West and South Wards. Mr. Hjorring, formerly representing the South Ward, was a, candidate for the West Ward, being opposed by Mr. E. T. George. For the South Ward Mr. W.
