WHEREAS I have received sufficient proof that the portion of the Otago G-oldfiold, described in the Schedule hereto, is for tlio whole or the greater part of an inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits : Now, therefore, I hekeby give notice that tho same may be occupied by holders of Miners' Rights in claims ofjthe undermentioned size:— ') One (1) Aero for each holder of a miner's right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six (6) acres altogether. The general boundaries of the district! are as follows viz.:—Commencing at Mount St. Bathans, thence by the Dunstan Kan go to the head of Lauder Creek, thence by Lauder Creek to its junction with the Manuherikia River, thence by the Manuherikia to the junction of the Poolburn, thence by the Poolburn to its junction with the Idaburn, thence by a line southeast to Rough Ridge, thence by Rough Ridge to South Rough Ridge Hill, thence by the ranges to Lammerlaw, thence by the ranges and Deep Stream to the Taieri River, thence by Allon Oreek and a right line to the eastern boundary of the Otago G-oldfield, thence by the eastern- and northern boundaries of the Goldfleld to the starting point.
