NASEBY MINING ASSOCIATION
. The adjourned meetingof the Committee was held on Tuesday evening last at the Town ;Hall. • Present: Messrs. ShanJackson, Moore, Webber, Clarke, (.chair). Letter read from Mr. Richard Moore, stating that it was his intention to purchase that portion of ground fceiyytr occupies as a residence area. Resolved—that no opposition be offered by the committee to the" application of Richard Moore to purchase the residence area upon which his house stands —about a quarter of an. acre—on the south side ot' High-street. Letter read from Mr. Richard Webber, _wishing to purchase about a quarter of an acre on which his residence stands. Resolved—that no grounds can be urged against this application the site being entirely worked out. Letter read from Mr. William Moore, informing the Association that it was his intention to purchase about half an acre on which his residence stands. Resolved—that no objection can be urged by the committee to the application—the ground being worked out by the Homebound Company. Letter read from Mr. Newmarch, , that it was his intention to purchase the ground held by him at the junction of Cemetery and Dunstan roads. Resolved that in the opinion of the committee no. more ground should be sold at present adjoining the Main South road, there being every probability of the road being worked. Letter read from Mr. de Lautour, wishing to purchase his residence area, situate below the Hospital. Referred to committee to report, to .meet on Thursday evening next, February lltli, 1875, at 7 p.m. Vote of thanks to the chair terminated the proceedings.
