Wellington, July 21. - The Gold Duty Repayment Ordinance disallowance was because of technical objections and imperfections. The Government say the object of the Council is attainable by another mode of procedure, and - that they have no objection to the repayment itself. The sum should have been in the Appropriation Ordi- , nance: The miners have been sold by the Provincial Executive.
