In botliof the above cases the Bench remarked to the inspector of Nuisances that in future it would be better to warn persons who were allowing nuisances of this kind ,to exist on their premises, and afford them an -opportunity to abate, them before prosecuting the persons ; also, that, while the suppression of nuisapccs was undoubt-, «dlynecessary for the sake of general health, it would have been more considerate on the part of the Corporation to have sent an expert witness to give evidence a,s to the nature of the evil existing, and with ,a proposition suggesting a remedy, as the nuisance complained of had actually existed (without interference) for even years past. ,
