MUNICIPAL COUNCIL.
On Thursday evening a special meeting of the Council was held at the Council Chambers. Present: His "Worship the Mayor, and Crs. Brookes, Craig, and Inder. 'ACCOUNTS; • The Finance Committee recommendedthe following.accounts for payment, which were sanctioned :—Al'Nally (advance on contract),, £2l; Morrison-an Langmaak (timber for Tovyn' Hall contract), £65 lis. The Council tlien adjourned.
