OUTSIDE BOUNDARY OP MOUXT IDA DISVBICT.

Commencing at the confluence of the Lauder Creek with the Manuherikia, and up the said creek to its..source; from thence aloug the backbone ;6f 'the Dunstan Ranges to the summit of Mount St. Bathans ; from thence along the boundary line of the Cromwell district tothe'Lindis Pass and the Longside .Creek ; from thence up the Longslip Creek to its junction witli the-Ahuriri liivor; tlience by the river and the Easthead Creek to the Waitaki; from thence ajong the southern shore of tlie Wiiitaki to the south-western corner of the Enkanui Hundred ; from thence by an imaginary line to the summit of the Kakanui Peak ; from thence along the watershed of the Kakanui Mountains in a northwesterly direction across the Maerewhetiua Pass to Kyeburn Hill; from Kyeburn llill.due west to Mount Ida ; from thence along the ILakanui Range to Mount Fortune; from thence along the boundary line Otajo j Goldfields to the northwest point of the Silverpeak Hill (the._said point being due west of Watkin's Hill); from thence by an imaginary line to Mount Stoker ; from thence to the junction "of tlie Sutton Stream with the Tjieri River,; , from thence to the junction of'the Lee Stream with the Sutton ; from thence along the Lee Stream to its most southerly source ; from thence by an imaginary line to the summit of- .the nearest peak of"t!ie Lamnierlaw Ranges.; from thenee along the Lammerlaw Ranges to the Lammerlaw Mountains ; from thence to South Rough Ridge Hill; from thence to Zs'orth Rough Ridge ; Hill; from thence by an imagi-i nary line to the junction of the Ida and Pool Burns; from thence along the course of the Poolburn to the Manuherikia Hi-; ver ; from thence'to the discharge of the!
