Ihe Tokoiu&iriro races are to come off on Thursday and Friday, 12th and 13th March. £345 appears on the programme in prjzes. TUAPEKA RACES. There were double the number present at the second day's racing yesterday. The weather, was splendid, and the racing excellent, though the number of horses competing was few. The following are the results:— Handicap Hurdle Eaoe of 40 sovs ; heats; la mile. ' Swaggerer 2 11 Jockey Clot Handicap of 100 sovs, with asweepstakes of 2 guineas. The added amount to go to the second horse. Tambourini was allowed-to walk over. Hack Race, in heats. Won by German Louis. Publican's Handicap of 4-5 sovs." 1|- mile. A splendid race-between Novice and Ada colt, the latter winning. Consolation Handicap of 25 sovs. Won by Novice on three legs. WAIKOUAITI RACES. The annual meeting has been fixed for the Ist of April. A liberal' programme is offered. All the races, except the Maiden Plate, which is confined to district horses, are open ones. OAMARU RACES. This meeting is to be held on the 7th and Bth of April} £lB5 the first day is to be run "for, and £l9O the second. The 1 best prize is the O. J. C. Handicap, 'of 100 sovs A Handicap Hurdle Race of £SO, and a 9st Hack Hurdle Race, three-quarters of a mile heats, for j£2o, are included in' the second day's programme.
