, By the Margaret Galbraith, which arrived;: lately at Port Chalmers, it,was expected-that'' an old resident (Mr. Louis Evans) at Welshman's Gully, St. Bathans, would have arrived from the, old country, where he had been to look afrer some' property. We are sorry to learn that he died on the voyage from the supposed effects of a bad cold. He leaves two -young children at: Welshman's Gully, we believe (as no will was made on board), totally unprovided for.
