SALE OF ST. BATHANS TOWNSHIP.
We have repeatedly pointed out how unjust are the continued delays. of the . Waste Lands Board in eoming to a decision with regard to the sale of St. Bathans township. If the Board of Inquiry had not investigated the question,*there - might be less ground for complaint, but it ~ is well known that the result of the inquiry has long ago been placed in the - proper official hands. As a proof of the injustice inflicted upon individuals by thisdilatoriness of decision, we publish, at the request of a valued subscriber, the following copy of his application for a quarter's business License. The facts speak for themselves. In the face of a distinct promise, made unconditionally by the Goldfields Secretary in the last session of Council, an extra imposition has been put upon the holders or business licenses to the tune of £3 per year apiece, or £3 in the whole year in excess of the upset price of their sections :: —.
