Wehber and Moore, submitting as one of 1 their sureties the name of Mr. Robert Ail ken. " KRPOKT. A report from the General Purposes Committee was read and adopted on the motion ( of Or. Ckaio, seconded by Gi\ Wilson*. The report recommended — "That, as soon as tin-encroachments on-Tay-slreet are removed, a footpath be
formod eight feet wide.' and a pitched gutter made to Earn-street/and that the line of road be drained. ENCROACHMENTS ON TAY-STREET. . The Town Clerk reported that lie had that day served notices on the following persons' having encroachments on Taystreet, to remove the same within a month : E. T. George, D. Robertson, W"m. Grumitt, Thomas Pin'der, Gay Tia,',N : .""P." Hjorring, John Dillon, and John Cogan. - FINAXICAL STATEMENT. The.Town. Cleric read and laid upon the table a detailed statement of receipts and expenditure for the year ending 31st-De-cember, 1873, by which it appeared that' the receipts amounted t0'£1374 165.-Id.; the expenditure had, been £584 3s. Yd.; the cash-in" bank to the'credit'of the Corporation was £790 12s'. 6d. -APPLICATION re TESANBAH. further consideration of Mr. Glenn's application re verandaK was postponed till the line of street is determined. tire "brigade. - Moved by Cr.
