Mares and Geldings allowed 31bs. No entries will be received for any of the above races, except upon this condition, thatall disputes claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards,' or whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points shall be final. ' No person shall be allowed to enter or-.run a horse for' any race in this programme—Post Entry'races excepted—unless a-subscriber of not less than £2 2s. to the Race Fund. Entries to be received by the Secretary, at the Victoria Hotel] Mount' Ida, before 6 p.m. 6n : 4th March, '1874, —entrance money-en-closed, with'name, age, pedigree (if any) of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. District races to mean Warden's District. Any jockey riding, except in colors entered, will be fined £1 Is., Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cftit. of the stakes. The Mount Ida Jockey Club rules vill be strictly enforced. tf Any person entering a protest wih" have to deposit £2", and should such .protest be deemed frivolous by the stewards, will have to forfeit the same.
